In 1912, River City Iowa is about to be turned upside down with the arrival of a charming and calculating traveling salesman. Harold Hill is the man to come into this stubborn city and change their hearts one by one.
The story begins with Hill preparing to cheat River City people out of their money by beginning a boy’s band that revolves around the “think system.”
